Summer is starting to wind down here in New Hampshire. The campground is still busy, but we have seen a decrease in the guests coming and going daily. Labor Day weekend will be really busy, but campground occupancy will drop in September and October. Got to admit we’ll be glad for the slower pace!
We continue to love our days off and spend our time exploring the beautiful White Mountains. We were fortunate enough to have several family members visit us in August and got to do some “touristy” things together as well as kayaking and hiking. We were able to take the cog railway up to Mount Washington, ride ATVs through the White Mountains, hike the Boulder Trail, and of course kayak and tube on the Saco River. It was wonderful to have visitors from home be able to share this experience with us!
