Camper’s Slow Cooker Thanksgiving Bread Filling
2 cups small diced yellow onions
1 ½ cups small diced celery
½ cup small diced carrots
4 peeled and minced garlic cloves
4 tbsp melted unsalted butter
2 tbsp soft unsalted butter
8 cups cubed bread
1 ½ cups chicken broth
2 whisked eggs
1 tsp dry sage
2 tsp granulated garlic
2 tbsp dry parsley
1 tbsp dry thyme
2 tsp kosher salt
½ tsp black pepper
1. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until fully incorporated
2. Using the soft butter to line the crockpot interior and add to the mixture
3. Cook on lowl for 3 hours
4. Allow the filling to rest for 10 minutes
5. For a crispy top, spoon out servings and place on a baking sheet and broil in oven for 2.5-3 minutes
